In 1974, Vito and a friend of his signed ownership papers for Omega Salvage (Berkeley, CA). The day this photograph was taken there was seldom a quiet moment. This kept Vito very busy evoking a smile or a laugh from his customers while he found items needed for their home or bought stock from walk-in sellers. Although he is no longer a co-owner, Vito's customers still enjoy his fantastic sense of humor and excellent customer service.
